CodeCraft — free QR code and barcode tools

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This policy explains what CodeCraft does and does not collect when you use this website. It is written to be read rather than skimmed, because the short version genuinely is short.

The short version

Nothing you type into any tool on this site is sent anywhere. Every QR code and barcode is generated by JavaScript running inside your own browser, on your own device. There is no upload, no server-side processing and no record of what you generated. Advertising and analytics providers do collect standard web data, and that is described in full below.

Data you enter into the tools

Links, text, Wi-Fi passwords, contact details, phone numbers, product codes and bulk lists are processed entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to CodeCraft or to anyone else, they are not written to any database, and they are not retained after you close or reload the page. Uploaded logo images and images you scan are read into browser memory and discarded the same way.

Because this data is never received, it cannot be disclosed, sold, breached or handed over on request. You can confirm the behaviour by loading a tool, disconnecting from the internet, and continuing to work.

Camera access

The QR scanner can use your device camera, but only after you explicitly grant permission through your browser. The video stream is analysed frame by frame inside the page and is never recorded, stored or transmitted. The stream is released as soon as a code is detected or you stop the scanner. Permission can be withdrawn at any time in your browser settings.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly all websites, this site's hosting and third-party services receive standard technical information when a page is requested. This typically includes your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, and the date and time of the request. This is used for security, for diagnosing faults and for understanding which pages are useful.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files placed on your device by a website. This site uses them in the following ways:

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The tools on this site will continue to work normally if you do.

Google AdSense and advertising partners

This site is supported by advertising and may display ads served by Google AdSense and its partners.

Advertising partners receive only the standard technical information described above. They do not receive, and cannot access, anything you type into the tools.

Third-party code libraries

To keep the site fast, some open-source libraries used for generating and decoding codes are loaded from public content delivery networks (cdnjs and jsDelivr). Your browser contacts those networks to fetch the files, which means they receive your IP address and browser information as part of a normal web request. They receive no information about what you do with the tools.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of personal data held about you, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Because CodeCraft does not collect or hold personal data from the tools, there is generally nothing held here to act on. For data held by advertising partners, exercise your rights through the opt-out links above or directly with those providers. If you have a question, write to sahilkashyap79887@gmail.com.

Children

This site is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. No personal information is knowingly collected from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a message sent to the address above, please contact us and it will be deleted.

International visitors

The site is operated from India and is accessible worldwide. Because tool data never leaves your device, no cross-border transfer of that data occurs. Technical data handled by hosting, advertising and CDN providers may be processed in other countries under those providers' own policies.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to legal requirements. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected there, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
